मुंबई, दि. १५ : दिल्ली येथील भारत मंडपम येथे आयोजित करण्यात आलेल्या ‘इंडिया एआय इम्पॅक्ट समिट’ मध्ये महिलांच्या नेतृत्वाखालील समृध्दीसाठी सर्वसमावेशक आराखडा मांडला जाणार आहे. राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग (NCW), आंतरराष्ट्रीय दूरसंचार संघटना (ITU) आणि संयुक्त राष्ट्र प्रशिक्षण व संशोधन संस्था (UNITAR) या संस्थांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने हे सत्र आयोजित करण्यात आले आहे. यामध्ये कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता (AI) क्षेत्रातील संधी, कौशल्यविकास, डिजिटल उद्योजकता आणि आर्थिक स्वावलंबन या विषयांवर विशेष भर देण्यात येणार आहे. हे सत्र १६ फेब्रुवारी २०२६ रोजी दुपारी ३.३० वाजता भारत मंडपम, कक्ष क्रमांक नऊ येथे होणार आहे.
या समिटमध्ये राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोगाच्या अध्यक्षा विजया रहाटकर, युनिटारच्या संचालिका (समृद्धी विभाग) मिहोको कुमामोटो, आंतरराष्ट्रीय दूरसंचार संघाच्या (आयटीयू) प्रादेशिक संचालिका (आशिया-पॅसिफिक) अत्सुको ओकुदा, माहिती व जनसंपर्क महासंचालनालयाचे प्रधान सचिव तथा महासंचालक ब्रिजेश सिंह, संगीतकार निर्माता कार्तिक शाह यांच्यासह उद्योग क्षेत्रातील प्रतिनिधी, तंत्रज्ञान तज्ज्ञ आणि महिला उद्योजिका सहभागी होणार असून महिलांच्या नेतृत्वाखालील आर्थिक प्रगतीस चालना देण्यासाठी ठोस उपाययोजना सुचविण्यात येणार आहेत. विशेषतः ग्रामीण व वंचित घटकांतील महिलांना डिजिटल तंत्रज्ञानाच्या माध्यमातून सक्षम करण्यावर भर राहणार आहे.
या चर्चासत्राचे उद्घाटन एआय विषयावरील विशेष व्हिडिओ सादरीकरणद्वारे होणार आहे. राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोगाच्या अध्यक्षा विजया रहाटकर या “आर्थिक शक्ती: सामायिक समृद्धीसाठी राष्ट्रीय अपरिहार्यता” या विषयावर मार्गदर्शन करणार आहेत. युनिटारच्या संचालिका मिहोको कुमामोटो “समावेशक आणि समृद्ध भविष्यासाठी स्थानिक क्षमता विकास” या विषयावर मार्गदर्शन करणार आहेत. आंतरराष्ट्रीय दूरसंचार संघाच्या (आयटीयू) प्रादेशिक संचालिका अत्सुको ओकुदा या “लैंगिक डिजिटल दरी कमी करण्यासाठी महिलांचे सक्षमीकरण” या विषयावर उद्बोधन करणार आहेत. पॅनल चर्चेमध्ये विजया रहाटकर ह्या महानगरांबाहेरील महिलांच्या सक्षमीकरणासाठी प्राधान्यक्रम, कौशल्यविकास, वित्तपुरवठा व सुरक्षिततेवरील भूमिका या विषयावर तर अत्सुको ओकुदा ह्या आशिया-पॅसिफिक अनुभवातून डिजिटल दरी कमी करण्याच्या उपाययोजना या विषयावर चर्चा करतील. तसेच ब्रिजेश सिंह हे “महिला वापरकर्त्यांसाठी सायबर धोके व सुरक्षिततेतील पोकळी” या विषयावर तर कार्तिक शाह हे “सर्जनशील क्षेत्रातील एआय संधी व आव्हाने” या विषयावर भूमिका मांडणार आहेत. परिसंवादानंतर उपस्थितांसोबत प्रश्नोत्तर सत्र होणार आहे.
या चर्चासत्रात महानगरांपलीकडील महिलांना एआयच्या माध्यमातून आर्थिक सक्षमता कशी मिळवून देता येईल, महिला उद्योजिकांसाठी सायबर सुरक्षिततेतील कोणत्या त्रुटी तातडीने दूर करणे आवश्यक आहे, तसेच सर्जनशील अर्थव्यवस्थेत एआयमुळे निर्माण होणाऱ्या संधी आणि आव्हानांचा कसा सामना करावा, या मुद्द्यांवर सखोल चर्चा होणार आहे.

NEW DELHI, February 15, 2026 – As the India AI Impact Summit 2026 kicks off at Bharat Mandapam, a strategic coalition comprising the National Commission for Women (NCW), United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), has announced a pivotal side event dedicated to the economic empowerment of women in the age of Artificial Intelligence.
Titled “AI & Arthik Shakti: A Blueprint for Women-Led Prosperity,” the session is scheduled for February 16 at 3:30 PM (Room 9), Bharat Mandapam. This interactive dialogue will bring together policymakers, technologists, and creative artist to exchange critical insights and lay the foundation for an action-oriented blueprint—to be developed post-summit—that ensures women across India and the Global South are architects of the AI revolution, not just consumers.
Setting the Agenda for Shared Prosperity
Aligned with the Summit’s core tenets of “People” and “Progress,” this session moves beyond general discussions of inclusion. Instead, it aims to identify specific, scalable interventions that can convert AI innovation into tangible “Arthik Shakti” (Economic Power) for women.
