डॉ.ए. पी. जे. अब्दुल कलाम यांच्या जयंतीनिमित्त राजभवन येथे वाचन प्रेरणा दिवस

मुंबई, दि. १५ : भारताचे दिवंगत माजी राष्ट्रपती भारतरत्न डॉ. ए.पी.जे.अब्दुल कलाम यांच्या जयंतीनिमित्त राजभवन येथे वाचन प्रेरणा दिवस साजरा करण्यात आला. यावेळी राज्यपालांचे उपसचिव एस राममूर्ती यांच्या प्रमुख उपस्थितीत राजभवनातील अधिकारी व कर्मचाऱ्यांनी आपल्या आवडत्या मराठी पुस्तकांमधील लेख व उतारे वाचले तसेच काव्य वाचन सादर केले.

सुरुवातीला राज्यपालांचे उपसचिव एस. राममूर्ती यांनी माजी राष्ट्रपती डॉ  ए.पी.जे.अब्दुल कलाम यांच्या प्रतिमेला पुष्पांजली वाहून अभिवादन केले. दिवंगत माजी राष्ट्रपती डॉ.ए.पी.जे.अब्दुल कलाम यांची जयंती वाचन प्रेरणा दिवस म्हणून साजरी करण्यात येते.

Maharashtra Raj Bhavan pays tributes to  former President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam

Floral tributes were offered to the portrait of  former President of  India  Bharat Ratna Dr A P J Abdul Kalam  on the occasion of his birth anniversary at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Wednesday  (15th  Oct). Deputy Secretary to the Governor S. Ramamoorthy offered floral tribute to the portrait of  former President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam  on the occasion. Officers and Staff of Raj Bhavan were present.

The Birth Anniversary is also celebrated as ‘Vachan Prerana Diwas’ in Maharashtra to promote the culture of reading. A reading session of Marathi prose and poetry was organised on the occasion. Officers and staff of Raj Bhavan read out excerpts from their favourite books.
